Grey Knights Chaplain conversion

Being the proud owner of two Paladin sets for the Grey Knights but neither assembled I decided to use one set to create the entire HQ I would need for my games. I am not a fan of named characters unless they look super awesome as its hard to justify being in every army.

 The Chaplain was made by taking a standard Paladin and swapping his head for that of a Space Marine Reiver. Some of the heads there don't have helmets or hair and are very Skull like.

And yes that is a Tau next to him. 

I cut down a warding staff to make his Crozius and added all the relics I could tack on. Also the giant Inquisition "I" and scroll work from my bits box. 

 The final piece was a book. One of the Paladin icons that's supposed to go on top of the carapace cut down to resemble a holy book of the Emperor containing the litanies of faith to drive his Brother into the malstrum against the cursed heratics and demons they serve. 

Drilling the muzzles of the storm bolter went a bit wrong which was a shame. Should have done them slightly smaller. 

 He has yet to be fielded in my small games so does not yet warrent a name but his chance will come.
