New year. New Army - Well sorted of.

Liam Dempsey's YouTube channel has set up a challenge to hobby 200pts of Army per month. 

 To hit the challenge I would like to do a Mechanicum force for both 40k and potentially Horus Heresy.

 Only problem being I can't afford 200pts per month.

 Co pilot says it's about £0.23/point so that's equivalent to £46 per month. I guess I can afford around £30. Not saying that's what I spend. That's what I can afford.

 Only thing is it doesn't work that way. Rangers are £30ish and only come to 85pts (in 10th) so I would need to do 2.

 A dragoon is 60pts for £40. So £120.

 Hard to see how I am keep that up but there is a plan. 

 Xmas has been kind and I have a bunch of presents including a self Santa. On the shelf I have.

 On top of that I have a bunch of un finished models.

10x kitbashed phobos Devastators (5th company)

3x Outriders (6th Company)

 That's really just the start of the list I have a lot more that I have battle readied over the years that could do with actually taking up a notch in their look.

 What would I do if money was no object? I have 4 ideas.

 A full Knights army. Multiple big knights starting with a Paladin, then the two big Dominus Knights then an Errant and maybe a Warden.

 Second would be my Death Tempter Space marine 6th Company list. Two full Outrider squads with 2 ATVs, kitbashed characters, all on bikes (even the ones that can't) squad of intercessors with Impulsors and maybe a Tac squad in a couple of Razorbacks. All the floaty boat Hammer strike Thunderstrike business and the Storm talons. Two for performance.

I wanted to make 8th company a pseudo Blood Angels company with the Deaths Curse. Squad of assault intercessors as a Death Company. 

Then there's my Mechanicus army.

Over Christmas I got lots of Cybernetica I am planning to proxy as 40k robots
